Some time ago I shared the pleasant transpositions of Carlos Gomes’s Guarani, as well as other classics of bossa-nova and choro onto reggae and ska here. Not to mention the fact that Carlos Gomes really sounds like the name of a proper Rastaman… But anyway, just in case you are a Pink Floyd aficionado like me, along the same lines, among so many experimentations with good old Dark Side of the Moon, below are two rather peculiar ones. The first presents itself in the form of what could perhaps be defined as Progressive Regional Fuzuê, aka PRF, whereas the second, divided into two parts (side A and side B), comes in the form of a pretty bizarre, yet quite amusing Progressive Atari Low-Bit, aka PALB, rrá-rrá!
Tips by Ricardo “Peter” Mauro Rodrigues and (again) Arthur “Tao” Joly, respectively.
Now, let me do some work, and if you wish to learn more, please do not hesitate to refer to my honourable treatise on the mysterious Spectrum of Floyds, which deals with some of the numerous aspects of this obscure, yet intriguing phenomenon at (wave)length, rrá-rrá!
